Directions to the Bellingham Library
(their map)A- From Interstate-5 northbound, in the center of Bellingham, take the Lakeway Drive Exit (#253) to the right;
B- turn right twice more to complete the "cloverleaf" around the city-block;
C- head west under the freeway on Lakeway Drive, about 5 blocks;
D- angle right 45-deg at Ellis, to enter E Holly St;
E- drive north-west about a half-mile - 8 blocks - on E Holly St into the downtown core, past Cornwall Av. - to Commercial St;
F- turn right (northing) on Commercial St;
G- go north on Commercial St for four blocks, angling left two blocks up at the Mt Baker Theater (with its tall tower);
H- turn left on Central Ave, at the Library's front door - 210 Central Ave.
X- The Lecture Room is in the basement on the rear (north) side of the building. There is a rear entrance, and stairs and an elevator from the main floor.
